About Me
It all started when…
I’ve always been a people person, so it made sense to combine my creativity with my love of people and for the past 7 years I’ve spent most days capturing natural, romantic and timeless photographs of the sweetest couples and families who are madly in love. I love capturing all the stories, all those special moments you’ll look back on in 50 years’ time and remember exactly how you felt in that moment.
I’m lucky to have grown up on the Sunshine Coast and still have my parents and so many supportive and talented friends nearby. I’m an aunty and I adore my nieces and nephews. I hope to one day add to the family tribe with babies of my own (the rambunctious fur babies are keeping me busy enough right now, though!).
Hummingbird cake is my kryptonite. Who am I kidding? So is wine and eating out. My Mum will likely tell you that if I’m not working you’ll probably find me staring at the sunset, dreaming up ideas for my next bridal photo shoot. Mother knows best.
My lifelong friends and clients new friends describe me as a hard-working, caring, fun loving person that just can’t stop talking about weddings (they’re right, I really can’t). I even have photo evidence from a “What I want to be when I grow up” dress up day at kindy. I went as a bride (hehehe), so I can assure you I have always loved the magic of a wedding!
I truly believe in the art of capturing a moment forever. I have lots of happy memories looking over old photos from the bad fashion in the 90s and then looking over newer photos of my Poppy, who is no longer with us. I’ll cherish these forever. I am humbled and excited that I have this privilege now to document so many special life stories. You know that saying about doing something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life? I’m living it.
My absolute fave part of my job is receiving the feedback from all the couples and families I photograph. I feel so special to be chosen and being part of so many special days provides me with endless gratitude.
I have now photographed over 300 families and have captured almost 100 beautiful weddings. I have laughed, krump danced (not even kidding), cried happy tears, cuddled babies, chased cheeky toddlers, held lace filled dresses up through the golden fields, overcome my fears of snakes and bugs, captured moments in the rain, been covered in cake icing, pretended to be a monkey or bird one too many times, felt little baby kicks on many beautiful bellies, photographed for magazines, billboards, websites and travelled interstate and overseas.
Most of all, I’m living proof that if you continually believe in yourself, back yourself and always give your best, you’ll be living your best life in no time! I guarantee it.
