Nick and Sophie ~ Sofitel Noosa Wedding

SP-1-14.jpg

Nick and Sophie met through friends in Adelaide and like all the best love stories start, he pretended his friends had left for the evening (she still thinks to this day that he was actually there alone) and they spent the rest of the night together chatting.  The very next morning Nick showed up on her doorstep to take her out for breakfast and they've been best friends ever since.Sophie wanted to marry Nick because he constantly makes her laugh, they're always having so much fun together, he's kind and also because he’s her best friend.

Tell us about your wedding

"We were married at Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort.  Both my husband (still feels weird calling him that) and I are mad surfers, so we wanted a relaxed beachy boho vibe. The ceremony took place along the river, then we hopped on a boat to have some fun. The reception was at Noosa Beach House."

What did you love most about your wedding venue?

"Just how natural it was, which reflects our relationship. We also had an amazing sunset and some fun beach photo locations nearby, too."

What was one of the most memorable moments on your wedding day?

"I had lots of family and friends traveling from England and Nick's family came up from Brisbane. The best part (apart from marrying Nick, of course) was having all our families meet and get to know each other, which probably won’t happen again for a really long time."The food was also outstanding and everyone was commenting on it. Even Betty’s Burgers were amazing (we had them on the boat trip). I think my family's orders that week kept them in business for the rest of the year!"

Why did you choose me as your wedding photographer?

"We chose you because of the connection you had with us.  You bounced off our silly humour and with myself and my husband not being the most confident in front of the camera, I knew you would make it easy for us. I knew you would capture both the unposed moments as well as all the posed family photos, too."

Was there anything you were worried about when it came to being photographed?

"Not really, you made us feel at ease (probably the only thing I wasn't stressed about). I was happy for you to take the lead with timeframes etc, as you have the experience and I was so happy with the results. I just knew I wouldn't have to worry!"

Do you have any tips for other engaged couples planning a wedding?

"Have a good connection and open line of communication with all your wedding suppliers and even if you think you are bugging them, make sure you ask as many questions as you can and delegate as many jobs as you can."Noosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographerNoosa wedding photographer
